The vehicle seen here is a 1916 Packard Truck with solid tires registered to the Chino Copper Co. in Hurley, N.M. Technically, because of its solid tires it should have 1924 Motor Truck plates on it, but instead it has a regular 1924 plates, # 5-763.  Author’s collection.


This 1918 Oldsmobile touring car was registered to A.T. Bogen of Hurley. The woman on the fender is unidentified.  Author’s collection.

The 1924 license plate # 27-908 on this wrecked car shows that it was a 1923 Essex Coach registered to L.E. McGinnis of Santa Fe.  Photographer: William H.
